Root Canal Treatment
Root canal treatment also known as nerve treatment is a treatment about which unpleasant and painful stories are told. The treatment is carried out under anaesthetic, so it is often experienced as painless. However, you may experience post-treatment pain, but this can be suppressed with a paracetamol.
But what exactly is a root canal treatment?
Every tooth and molar has roots stuck in your jawbone, with nerves and blood vessels: canals. When bacteria get into these due to caries, you get inflammation that cannot be removed with anti-inflammatories or antibiotics. Then it is up to us to clean and fill these canals, removing the inflammation.
